Fantasy Football
The new English Premier League (EPL) season got under way at the weekend and with it every fantasy football game under the sun!
As always, my game of choice is The Sun’s Dream Team and this year I’m running another Mini League although it looks as though numbers are dwindling as at the moment we only have 13 teams taking part (3 of which are mine), although there’s still time for others to join in.
This year I’m also taking part in the Premier League’s version and pitting my wits against other members of the OnR clan. Last year I managed a credible mid table position. Hopefully this year I’ll do a bit better!
At the last minute I decided to enter a Facebook fantasy football team, as it seemed everyone else was and finally I’ve got one running in the Daily Telegraph’s competition as well, as it was set up by my employees and more importantly, it was free!
So this year I’ve got 8 different teams taking part in 4 different leagues. The biggest problem with this is that each has a different scoring system so trying to work out your strategy for each one gets a bit complicated! Maybe I should have stuck with just the one team!
