Aaawww Man, No Footy!
Well the weather has put paid to tomorrow’s game of football! Received a phone call from the opposing team’s manager this morning and apparently the pitch is too badly waterlogged to play on. There’s lots of standing water and with more rain expected today and overnight, the chances of it draining away are absolutely none.
That meant a call to our manager to let him know to let the rest of the team know that the game has been potponed.
But at least I’ll get a lie-in now!
